Hi, I’m Laura, welcome to Soul Yoga, your yoga and wellness experience in SXM !

Born in the south of France, I now call the beautiful island of Saint Martin/Sint Maarten home, where I live with my family. This is where I teach yoga, outdoors or in various studios all around SXM.

My journey with yoga began during my pregnancy when I wanted to nurture my body and mind—and I fell in love with it instantly.

I practiced throughout my pregnancy, and after giving birth, yoga became my refuge. I first started with online classes, but very quickly I realized that I needed to be in a studio with a teacher that can adjust me, and meet other yogis to dive deeper into this practice. Luckily for me, I found a studio 2mn away from home, and I met this incredible teacher. I was captivated by her personality, the incense smell, the Sanskrit words she was using, that meant nothing to me at the time, and all those new concepts I was hearing (yoga philosophy), that really resonated with me.

And I told myself, I wanna be her ! I want to be a teacher too.

So, I took a leap. I completed a 200-hour Vinyasa training in the south of France, followed by a 50-hour Yin Yoga certification and 65 hours specializing in Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga. It truly transformed my life, and now I’m here to help transform yours.

I offer yoga classes and wellness workshops in Saint Martin / Sint Maarten, in French and English, for all levels. Whether you are a resident or on vacation on the island, you are welcome to practice with me.

I am 100% Gemini (so I talk a lot) and my rising sign is Capricorn. I never know which side of me is gonna show up on the mat ! The funny gemini or the serious capricorn. I guess you'll have to find out :)
